Hit the Bottle to Live 4 years Longer
Here’s a good excuse you shouldn’t quit drinking entirely. It has been found that a glass of wine every day means less chance of keeling over with an unstable ticker.
Dutch researchers found that those who drank on average less than a glass a day had a lower rate of cardiovasular death, with winos faring beetter than beer and spirit drinkers.
The study at Wageningen University in the Netherlands (Holland), surveyed 1,373 men. Over a 40-year period, each man’s health and drinking habits were assessed. It was concluded that wine drinkers lived an average of 3.8 years longer than teetotalers.
